Hacks for Chromebook.

Let's take control of our Chromebooks

Well all the CIE students who own a Chromebook can now have unrestricted access to their device.

We were were told to buy Chromebooks from the school to do our Research but all we can do is download stupid Pdf from the pastepaper website.

WELL THAT WAS NOT THE REASON I BOUGHT A CHROMEBOOK.

Well there is a simple hack for you fellow student's who are feed up by being supervised by the school IT department... Well I am not sure if this hack will be working for all the students.

you can...only try this if you are brave enough to risk it all.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OF THE DAMAGES THAT MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOUR CHROMEBOOK

Now if you agree here are few things that I would like to suggest you that follow the steps below

THIS IF YOU ARE STILL A STUDENT (if not skip to the next part)

1. Do not do this using the school's to try this hack do it when you are at home or have left the school  (If you left the school the Fuck Guddu and HIRS anyway)
2. Go to chrome://flags from your web browser and enable the Experiment Crostini option as shown in the picture in the right hand side. Then you can experience the Linux shell or terminal
3. Once you have enabled this you can use Linux in the crostini terminal
4. For those of you who don't know how to use Linux Please download the Pdf file in the end od the post.
5. Read from step 14 from the next part.

FOR EX-STUDENTS OR A LEGENDS (People who got expelled)

1. First contact Rajkumar (AKA Disco Dancer) to remove all you restrictions from you Chromebook or else you will not be able to access any local or personal network) unless you use Ethernet from your phone. 😉
2. Contact the following e-mail: abhishekpratap.singh@ilfsindia.com say him that you are and ex-student of HIRS (We don't give a fuck anyway)
3. He will ask for you Chromebook serial no. DO NOT GIVE THE MACHINE S/N NUMBER WHICH IS IN A WHITE STICKER instead GIVE THE S/N NUMBER WHICH IS GRAY IN COLOUR IT GENERALLY STARTS WITH NX AND HAS 22 CHARACTERS IN TOTAL P.S. IT'S VERY TINY, SO READ CAREFULLY or your devices will still be managed by HIRS.
4. After you receive a confirmation mail from Mr. Abhishek or Disco dance don't do anything.
5. After you receive the mail you need to format your Chromebook and enable developer option.
6. Press Esc+Refresh(⟳)+Shutdown all at once for a while
7. after the recovery mode shows up press Ctrl+D and follow the instructions on the screen this might take a while.
8. After you set-up your account.  
9. Follow this steps carefully go to setting and there will be 3 bars sign in the top left corner before the word Settings
10. Click on the 3 bars
11. There will be an option Linux(Beta) Click on that.
12. It will download the Linux app after that is done you are suppose to update you Linux OS to do that see the steps bellow.
13. Open Linux terminal from app drawer
14. type the follow in the terminal or Linux shell

• sudo apt-get update
• sudo apt-get upgrade
